This park is located in Jianwei County in southern Sichuan Province and covers an area of 38 km2. It became a national mining park in 2010. Boasting a long mining history, the Jiayang coal mine has preserved large amounts of mining geological heritage and typical mining production heritage, such as an outcrop of the Huangcun underground coal seam, Huangcun silicified wood and syngenetic sedimentary concretions. Jiayang Laojin and the Bajiao Industrial Ancient Town were important bases that supplied coal during the Anti-Japanese War and the early days of the liberation of China. Bagou Town, which was established during that period, integrates the architectural styles of many countries and is a location of peace and happiness.
