This park is located in Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province. The Heilongjiang Hegang National Mining Park has an area of 6.66 km2 and was approved as one of the first group of national mining parks in 2005. It has four scenic areas: a mining history museum, together with the Wanrenkiang (Ten Thousand People burial ground), Xinyi Mine, Lingbei outdoor mining area, and the ‘Langwo’ Japanese secret underground fortification area. The green area of the park accounts for 57.1% of the total area of the city, and the forest coverage rate is 42.1%, which allows it to serve as a forest park. The main scenic site in the park highlights mining relics, the slope of the open pit, the clear distribution of geological structures, and the coal seam.
