Trichomonas gypaetinii

Trichomonad species parasitizing in the oropharyngeal cavity of vultures (Neophron percnopterus and Aegypius monachus). This species looks like T. gallinae; however, genetic analyses showed deep differences. Symptoms of disease are low or absent.
