Dan Wulff (1951–).

Introduction

Dan Wulff has been an important person in contemporary family therapy, social work, qualitative research, and social change. Since 2007 he is a professor, Faculty of Social Work, University of Calgary (since 2007), and he serves as the coordinator of the Doctoral and MSW Thesis Programs.

Career

Dan began his career as an in-home family therapist with Families, Inc. in West Branch, Iowa. He studied and received Ph.D.s from Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA, in Human Development and Family Studies, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, in 1994.

Dan taught social work and family therapy at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Louisville before moving to Canada in 2007.

At the University of Louisville, with Sally St. George, they were codirectors of the MSSW-MFT Program. At the University of Calgary, they continue to develop their practices of family therapy and supervision with Dr. Karl Tomm at the Calgary Family Therapy Centre.
