Abstract

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that is associated with a deficient epidermal barrier function. The risk of developing occupational contact dermatitis is increased in patients with AD exposed to wet work. In this chapter, an overview of pathogenesis, clinical presentations and management of occupational contact dermatitis in patients with AD will be presented.
