Spirituality at the Workplace

Spirituality in the workplace is a multidimensional concept, involving both spirituality and religion. Many refer to the phenomenon as Faith at Work, where the term faith encompasses conceptions of both religion and spirituality, as well as atheism and agnosticism, as they too, represent a Weltanschauung, i.e., a way of perceiving reality and filtering meaning and purpose. The words work and workplace typically refer to locations and activity involving paid work. Together, the faith at work or spirituality in the workplace phenomenon explores the individual, organizational, and social ramifications of integrating one’s personal spiritual, religious, or faith Weltanschauung with one’s work.
