Negative anthropogenic changes in marine and land ecosystems, with the background of climate change, could result in serious consequences for future generations. Only professionals who understand the relationship between theoretical and practical multidisciplinary problems of environmental and social change will have required competencies of managing these problems in a most sustainable manner.
