Organism State

The immune system can be in different states that influence lymphocyte dynamics and repertoires as well as homeostatic regulation processes. The state of the organism should be taken into consideration for the adaptation of investigation methods (in particular in case of cell transfer/graft in another individual) as well as interpretations of observations (reviewed in Cancro and Sprent 2005).

    Normal healthy individuals: The age is a factor that influences cell dynamics and selection processes. Ontogeny and aging are periods of construction and regression of the immune system and lymphocyte repertoires, with relative immunodeficiency.

    Immunodeficient individuals, for which the immunodeficiency origin could be related to:
