CAK (cyclin-dependent-activating kinase)

CAK is, generally, a component of the TFIIH transcription factor, but in Saccharomyces it is not part of TFIIH. It activates CDC28. transcription factors, Cdk, MO15, cyclin, CDC28; Chen J et al 2003 Nature [Lond] 424:228; Gall JG 2003 Nature Rev Mol Cell Biol 4:975.
