In a communications system, the ratio of (a) the number of disengagement attempts that result in disengagement success to (b) the total number of disengagement attempts made during a performance measurement period. Common abbreviationDSR.Note 1: The disengagement-success ratio usually is used to establish the disengagement success probability. Note 2: The disengagement success ratio (DSR) must equal one minus the disengagement-denial ratio (DDR).
