Through the exchange of knowledge and experiences with other geoparks, research results can be shared for the long-term mutual benefit of all geoparks. Knowledge shared between geoparks includes geological and landform studies, environmental protection, management, organisation of science popularisation activities and promotions, interpretation systems, geopark promotion and tourism development. All geoparks are encouraged to share their knowledge with other geoparks. This knowledge can be shared directly with other geoparks, particularly when they are sister geoparks.
