This is one of the evaluation methods for tourism resources. The evaluated object is controlled by several factors. Each factor can be sub-divided into several levels, and each level is given a score index and a weight value. The figures are then used in a mathematical model to calculate the total score of a scene, attraction, scenic site or geopark. The total score indicates the value of the landscape tourism resource. The quantitative evaluation model has several problems in actual operation. Its basic formula is \( \sum \limits_{i=1}^n{w}_i{a}_i \). where n is the number of indicators under each resource to be evaluated, Wi is the weight, and ai is the standard value set by the evaluation index. The total score is the weighted sum of the values of ai. The value is usually expressed as a percentage; the greater the value is, the higher the level of the resource will be. Quantitative evaluation methods applied to determine the weights and indicators of the standard values may subject...
