Metamorphism is a change in the minerals or geologic texture of a rock in the Earth’s crust due to heat and pressure. There are many types of metamorphism. According to the nature of the metamorphism, it can be divided into regional metamorphism, thermal metamorphism (including thermal contact metamorphism and contact metasomatic metamorphism), dynamic metamorphism and impact metamorphism. Based on the mode of rock transformation, metamorphism can be divided into recrystallization, metasomatism, injection, anatexis, migmatization and granitization. According to the change in temperature, it can be divided into prograde metamorphism (from low-temperature metamorphic minerals into high-temperature metamorphic minerals) and retrograde metamorphism (from high-temperature metamorphic minerals into low-temperature metamorphic minerals). In addition, based on the temperature, metamorphism can be categorized as very low-level, low-level, intermediate metamorphism and high-level metamorphism....
