This is a collective term for landforms of volcanic rocks. Volcanic rocks of different ages are present in China, and Mesozoic volcanic rocks are widely distributed. Due to external dynamic geologic processes, volcanic rocks can form a variety of landforms with ornamental value, such as peaks, caves, valleys and mesas, which have become famous scenic locations. Examples are Yandangshan and Wenling Mesa in Zhejiang Province and Baishuiyang in Fujian Province.
