This is a volcanic landform that is shaped like a screen wall. The term ‘overlapping screen-like peak’ was first proposed by Xiake Xu after his tour of Yandangshan. In the geological context, ‘overlapping screen-like peaks’ are composed of ruptured and disintegrated steep cliffs of superimposed rhyolite layers that formed from multiple lava flows (Fig. 6).
