Zusammenfassung

Hämangiome sind die häufigsten Gefäßtumoren im Säuglingsalter und treten bei bis zu 4,5 % aller reifgeborenen Säuglinge auf. Die Diagnose lässt sich meist an der typischen Optik sowie der Entwicklung, welche sich in 3 Phasen gliedert (Wachstum, Stagnation, Regression) klinisch stellen. Abhängig von Lokalisation und Ausprägung ist bei etwa 10–15 % der Patienten eine Therapie erforderlich, um teilweise schwere Komplikationen zu vermeiden.
