Local materials:

Materials available within a specific region (area), for example, wood, stone, or sand, are considered local materials.

Local multiplier:

The local multiplier analyzes the impact of flows of income and money on the local economy.

Local shopping:

This term describes the act of buying local products locally, leaving the revenue within the local community. It is a term that considers where products come from and where money is spent. Local shopping is occasionally also referred to as local spending, local buying, or local consumption.

Local:

Local can be defined as a relative term for the purposes of this article. It describes proximity to a certain location (town, city, home), the association to a political structural unit (municipality, county, etc.) as well as social nearness to a community or network.
