Definition

Many intellectual, neuropsychological, and psychological tests and test batteries include software that automatically calculates normative scores and generates profiles and interpretive statements. The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition (Wechsler 2008), Wechsler Memory Scale – Fourth Edition (Wechsler 2009), Neuropsychological Assessment Battery (Stern and White 2003), California Verbal Learning Test – Second Edition (Delis et al. 2000), Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (Heaton et al. 1993), Ruff Neurobehavioral Inventory (Ruff and Hibbard 2003), Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (Butcher et al. 2001), and Personality Assessment Inventory (Many intellectual, neuropsychological, and psychological 1991) are a few such examples.
