Abstract
Over the past 25 years, there has been an evolution in the management of intramedullary spinal cord tumors in children that reflects advances made in neurosurgical technique, neurophysiological monitoring, and in the understanding of the disease. This chapter will outline the current state of knowledge for these tumors and their management.
