About this book
Encyclopedia of Postdigital Science and Education brings together the voluminous knowledge on scholarly research and learning in our postdigital condition. Since its first public appearance in 2000, the concept of the postdigital has entered mainstream in research fields from philosophy through arts to education. During the past years, we are witnessing a rapid growth in number of academic books and articles dealing (explicitly and implicitly) with education and research in and for the postdigital age. There is a growing number of research centers and funded projects situated in the postdigital perspective, and the concept of the postdigital is now mainstreamed in popular discourse. Encyclopedia of Postdigital Science and Education covers that need as the first reference work with an explicit focus to postdigital themes and research approaches.
