Protein Synthesis

Part of the book series: Methods in Molecular Biology ((MIMB,volume 77))

Abstract

This chapter describes an in vitro system to measure activities of Escherichia coli ribosomes translating poly(U). However, the described techniques are applicable to other translation systems and to other messenger RNAs.
