Abstract
The Brainsway Deep TMS System for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) was cleared by the FDA on January 2013 for the treatment of depressive episodes in adult patients suffering from MDD who failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from previous antidepressant medication treatment in the current episode, based on a large, prospective, double blind, randomized, controlled multicenter trial. This chapter presents the detailed protocol of this multicenter trial.
