About the editor

Fedra Hajizadeh received MD, degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran in 1995 and completed the Ophthalmology Residency and Vitreoretinal Fellowship both at Farabi Eye Hospital of Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1999 and 2004, respectively. She has been a Consulting Surgeon of VitreoRetinal diseases and Research Scientist at Noor Eye Hospital, Tehran, Iran since 2008 working in retinal imaging center at the Hospital. Her current research includes Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) of Retina, Ocular Trauma, and Retinal Fluorescein Angiography. She received an Honourable Mention award at the Ophthalmic Photographers Society Exhibit, ASCRS-ASOA Symposium & Congress, Chicago, Illinois, USA, April 2012 and second place for “Optic pit related foveoschisi” in Ophthalmic Photographers Society Exhibit, ASCRS-ASOA Symposium & Congress, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in April 2014.

Dr Hajizadeh has published and participated in more than 20 articles concerning optical coherence tomography, epidemiology in ocular trauma and post traumatic endophthalmitis in glaucoma. She also published the book entitled “Atlas of Ocular Optical Coherence Tomography” in 2018 as Editor and a main author. Her areas of interest are ocular imaging, optical coherence tomography and uveitis.
