About the author
Dr. Mariela A. Agotegaray is a Researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) at INQUISUR, working on the development of nanotechnology for biomedical purposes. Her work is based on the design and synthesis of nanotechnology based on silica with applications in the treatment of diseases with high social impact, such as inflammatory and oncological bone diseases. She is also a Professor at the Chemistry Department of the National University of the South.
