Zhixiang Fang

Zhixiang Fang is full professor of State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing, Wuhan University. He obtained his MSc in 2002 and PhD in 2005 in Wuhan University. He was a visiting scholar (2007) and adjunct professor (2015) in University of Tennessee,Knoxville, USA.

He has a wide range of research interests in the Smart City area include, Human dynamics observation and application,  Spatialtemporal  urban sensing and space-time GIS & Remote sensing,  Spatial cognition and intellgent navigation, and related topics. He has completed 40 research projects in the past ten years, published more than 166 academic papers and four books. He serves as peer reviewers for 100 international journals.

Antonio Moreno-Muñoz

Antonio Moreno-Munoz is a full Professor at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Universidad de Córdoba, Spain. He is the Chair of the Industrial Electronics and Instrumentation R&D Group. He received his PhD and M.Sc. degrees from UNED, Spain in 1998 and 1992, respectively. From 1981 to 1992 he was with RENFE maintenance service, the Spanish National Railways Company, where he received a scholarship for his university studies. Since 1992 he has been with the University of Cordoba, where he has been the director of its department, and academic director of the Master in Distributed Renewable Energies. His research focuses on Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Power Quality, Internet of Energy. He has participated in 22 R&D projects and/or contracts and has more than 200 publications on these topics.

He is currently a Member of the European Technology & Innovation Platform (ETIP) Smart Networks for Energy Transition (SNET) WG-4. Member of the Flexible Grid-interactive Efficient Buildings to Enhance Electric Service Resilience (FlexGEB) TF. WG Member of the Spanish Railways Technological Platform (PTFE). Member of the Technical Committee on Smart Grids of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. He has been a member of WG Member of the IEEE P3001.9 Recommended Practice for the Lighting of Industrial and Commercial Facilities, and the CIGRÉ/CIRED JWG-C4.24 committee "Power Quality and EMC Issues associated with future electricity networks". He has been a member of the IEC/CENELEC TC-77/SC-77A/WG-9 committee. He has been a member of the ISO International Organization for Standardization AEN/CTN-208/SC-77-210.

He is an evaluator of R&D&I projects for the Estonian Research Council, the Fund for Scientific and Technological Research (FONCYT) of the National Agency for the Promotion of Science and Technology in Argentina, and the Directorate General of Research, Development, and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities of Spain, the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), South Africa’s National Research Foundation (NRF), and academic promotion at Qatar University. He is also an evaluator for European Quality Assurance (EQA) and DNV-GL.

Sergio Porta

Sergio Porta is Professor of Urban Design, Director of Urban Design Studies Unit and course director of the MSc in Urban Design at Department of Architecture, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Head of Department from 2011-14, Chair of the International Seminar of Urban Form in 2021 and member of the ISUF council in 2020-21, External Examiner of Urban Design PGT programs at University of Cardiff, Manchester and Westminster in 2018-2022, he is advisor to international organisations, sits in the editorial boards of leading scientific journals in urban science and design and is regularly invited speaker to international conferences. His recent research is on masterplanning the adaptive city, urban morphology/morphometrics, and radical architectural design. He has published over fifty papers on international peer-reviewed journals and three monographs. In 2023 he was awarded the Mallick Medal 2023 (ICE - Urban Design and Planning) and the Michael Breheny Prize 2023 (Environment and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science) as author of best scientific papers of the year. His h-Index on Scopus (June 2024) is 23.

Francesco Ricciardelli

Francesco Ricciardelli is Full Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of  Campania "L. Vanvitelli", Italy. He obtained his five-year undergraduate degree from the University of Napoli "Federico II", his Master of Engineering Science form the University of Western Ontario, and his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering again from the University of Napoli "Federico II".

He is member of several codification Committees within CEN, ISO, UNI and the Italian National Research Council. He is Editor in Chief of Wind and Structures: and International Journal. He is the author of 170+ scientific papers in the areas of structural and wind engineering.

He has served as Chairman and Scientific Committee member in a large number of International and National Conferences, and has been the vice-chairman of the Scientific Committee of the 16th International Conference on Wind Engineering in 2023.
