After 10 years, Andreas Schmidt-Rhaesa hands over the chief editor position of Zoomorphology
Journal Author Satisfaction survey put Zoomorphology in the top to 25% Springer Nature journals
At the journal Zoomorphology, morphological investigations of invertebrates and vertebrates, reviews designed as comparative surveys summarizing current knowledge from an evolutionary perspective and method papers presenting new approaches or reviews on methods used in animal morphology stand in the limelight. The integrative studies span macroscopic, microscopic and ultrastructural levels, including embryological studies. In recent years, the journal has also been the home for articles on biomechanics of different animal tissues as well as morphometric analyses of populations, groups or generations.
With all the excellent research published with a focus on comparison, integration, evolution and development, the journal is proud to be one of three partners offering the annual Reinhard Rieger-Award, which is awarded to the most outstanding contribution during the last year.
