David M. Harris, PhD, holds the position of Professor of Medical Education at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, USA. He has been the course director for several classes and is currently the Director for Longitudinal Curriculum. His interests include the use of high-fidelity patient simulation with early learners as well as active learning pedagogies and metacognition development. He is supportive of faculty and students in their scholarly work and has served as peer reviewer for several educational journals.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board consists of 14 Associate Editors under direction of the Editor-in-Chief. They oversee the review process and communicate with corresponding authors regarding revisions providing detailed and constructive feedback. They provide advice regarding final decisions, and work with the Editor-in-Chief to draw up and implement editorial policy to meet the highest ethical standards for journal publication.

The International Advisory Board is a small group of individuals with high responsibilities in international publishing in Medical Education. The members of the advisory board assist the Editorial Board in strategic matters regarding the direction of the journal. The members are invited to meet once a year face-to-face with the Editorial Board during the IAMSE Annual Meeting.
