Aims and scope
Experiments in Fluids examines the advancement, extension, and improvement of new techniques of flow-related measurement. The journal also publishes contributions that employ existing experimental techniques to advance understanding of the underlying flow physics in the areas of turbulence, aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, convective heat transfer, combustion, turbomachinery, multi-phase flows, and chemical, biological and geological flows. Although the journal publishes articles that combine experimental and analytical/numerical approaches, the dominant component of the investigation must be experimental.
In addition to Research Articles, Experiments in Fluids publishes Correspondence (formerly Letters) and Review Articles. Please refer to the information on ‘Article Types'.
