Background: Created in 2007, FBR is a double-blind refereed quarterly journal in business research. FBR offers a multidisciplinary forum for academics, practitioners, and policy makers that focuses on business administration, and encourages interdisciplinary studies and interactions between Chinese and international researchers. FBR is abstracted and indexed in all major international databases including EconLit, ESCI, INSPEC, SCOPUS, and ProQuest, and is ranked as a top humanities and social sciences academic journal in China. Starting from 2017, the overseas publisher is Springer Nature while Higher Education Press remains the domestic publisher in China.

Mission: The journal publishes high quality research papers conducted by Chinese and international scholars, practitioners and government policy makers in all areas of business administration, either in the Greater China region or beyond. It aims to present the very best research findings in business administration to the world and promote research exchange and collaboration between China and the rest of the world.

Editorial Board: The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Jiye Mao, Dean of School of Business, Renmin University of China. The Executive Editor-in-Chief is Professor Steven Shuye Wang, professor of finance. The Editorial Office is hosted by the School of Business, Renmin University of China.

The editorial board comprises active Chinese and overseas scholars from top universities worldwide, with a track record of research excellence and international recognitions.They are on the leading edge of the current research advances in China and able to assess the quality of research based on international standards.

The board members’ responsibilities mainly include: Contributing their own works and recommending other scholar’s high quality papers for publication consideration; Providing reviews of submissions when invited; Promoting the journal in various ways, such as introducing the journal to colleagues, and promoting the journal at relevant academic conferences; And attending the journal’s editorial board meeting and annual conference to discuss and plan related issues for the development of the journal.
