Aims and scope

Biophysics is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal that encompasses a broad range of topics related to the fundamental physical mechanisms underlying processes occurring in various levels of biosystems. It delves into areas such as the structure and dynamics of macromolecules, cells and tissues; the influence of environment; energy transformation and transfer; thermodynamics; biological motility; population dynamics and cell differentiation modeling; biomechanics and tissue rheology; nonlinear phenomena, mathematical and cybernetics modeling of complex systems; and computational biology. The journal publishes regular articles, as well as short communications and critical reviews. With a commitment to becoming an international publication, Biophysics welcomes submissions in English from researchers worldwide, fostering a diverse and global scientific community.
