Dass Patienten mit Migrationshintergrund besonders schmerzempfindlich und klagsam sind, gilt vielen Kollegen als ausgemacht. Vorurteile und Missverständnisse behindern oft eine erfolgreiche, dem kulturellen und sozialen Hintergrund des Patienten angepasste Schmerztherapie. Dabei sind Sprachschwierigkeiten nur ein Teil des Problems.
