Abstract
In Dr. Stephen J. Clarson’s class, Polymer Spectroscopy (MTEN-6035), we discussed the interaction of visible and invisible light (e.g., UV light) with materials. The class began with the acronym ROYGBIV which stands for “Richard of York Gave Battle in Vain”. This particular piece stems from the research of how spectrometry was used in identifying the remains of Richard III, the last king of the House of York.
