Familie-interventies bij patiënten met een ernstige psychische aandoening

Een ernstige psychische aandoening is niet alleen van invloed op de patiënt zelf, maar ook op zijn omgeving. De belasting voor direct betrokkenen is vaak groot waardoor ze zelf ook een verhoogd risico lopen om psychische problemen te krijgen. Omgekeerd heeft ook het gedrag van de familie invloed op de patiënt en het beloop van de klachten. Familie-interventies kunnen dit beloop op gunstige wijze beïnvloeden.
