Zusammenfassung
Das vorgestellte, aus mehrjähriger Kooperation hervorgegangene Projekt bearbeitet erstmals systematisch den Entwicklungsstand der Evaluation in der Breite von zehn Themenfeldern in den drei Ländern Deutschland, Österreich und Schweiz. Außerdem wird für diese Länder ein aktueller Überblick gegeben, wie der Stand der institutionellen Verankerung der Evaluationsfunktion im jeweiligen politischen System auf den verschiedenen föderalen Ebenen ist. Schliesslich werden Perspektiven einer Weiterentwicklung und Professionalisierung von Evaluation diskutiert.
Abstract
The presented project is the first one ever to systematically cover the state of the art in evaluation in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in ten selected policy fields. In addition, it provides an overview of current institutional embeddings of evaluation functions in the political systems on the federal level. Finally, perspectives about the further development and professionalization in the field of evaluation are discussed.
