Zusammenfassung

Die Diagnostik und Therapie von Zahnunfällen erfolgen heute synoptisch und interdisziplinär. Die fünf unabhängig voneinander verletzten Gewebe Zahnhartsubstanz, Parodont, Pulpa, Weichgewebe und Knochen werden separat diagnostiziert und therapiert. Nur auf diese Weise kann der Zahnerhalt auch nach schweren Zahnunfällen sichergestellt werden. Das Verhalten am Unfallort hat insbesondere bei Avulsionen einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Prognose der verletzten Zähne.

Abstract

The diagnostics and therapy of dental accidents are nowadays synoptic and interdisciplinary. The five independently damaged tissues hard dental substance, periodontium, pulp, soft tissue and bone are separately diagnosed and treated. This is the only way to save the teeth following severe dental accidents. The conduct immediately following the accident has a substantial influence on the prognosis for the damaged teeth particularly by avulsion.
