Abstract
Aretrospective study of macular involvement was undertaken in 112 cases (175 eyes) of Eales disease. One or more macular lesions were observed in 51 eyes (28.1%). Macular edema (12.57%), intraretinal hemorrhages (10.85%), retinal pigment epithelial abnormalities (9.14%), hard exudates (8.57%), microaneurysms (7.42%), traction macular detachment (7.42%), macular nonperfusion (1.71%), and epiretinal membrane (1.71%) were observed. Macular involment in Eales disease is not uncommon.
