Prof. Bao-Hang Han is a professor at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China (NCNST). He obtained his degree of bachelor (1989), master (1992), and Ph.D. (1999) in science from Nankai University, Tianjin, China. From 2000 to 2005, he conducted his postdoctoral researches at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany, the Department of Chemistry, University of Ottawa, Canada, and the Department of Chemistry, University of Toronto, Canada. He joined NCNST as a professor in 2005. His research interests focus on developing the functional nanoporous materials, including porous organic polymers, porous graphene (oxide)-based nanomaterials, and biomass-based porous carbon materials, and exploring their potential applications in energy and environmental fields.
Prof. Dong Wang received his BSc and PhD from Nankai University and Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997 and 2003, respectively. He conducted his postdoctoral research and worked as a research associate at the University of Alberta and National Institute for Nanotechnology, National Research Council, Canada during 2003–2009. He joined Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences as a Professor in 2009. His current research interests include the surface assembly and reaction, 2D organic nanostructure and materials, and scanning probe microscopy.
