New heteroyohimbine-type oxindole alkaloid from the leaves of Thai Mitragyna hirsuta

Abstract

A new oxindole alkaloid, isomitraphyllinol (1), was isolated from the leaves of Thai Mitragyna hirsuta, together with five known oxindole alkaloids (26). The structure of the new compound was determined by spectroscopic analysis.
