Ukraine's Joining the WTO: Realities and Challenges

Abstract

In this paper we propose an analysis of the process of Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) by focusing on the influence of the membership on the state as a whole and producers and consumers in different branches of economy. We point to positive and negative effects and analyze problematic issues putting obstacles in the way of Ukraine's joining the WTO.
