Immunoenzyme test systems for evaluating the steroid hormone status of plants under biotic stress

Abstract

Using our custom enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for quantitative determination of brassinosteroids, the steroid hormone status of barley plants was evaluated both under normal and biotic stress conditions. The level of endogenous brassinosteroid hormones decreases in barley infected by Helminthosporium teres Sacc.
