Abstract

Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles and Ag nanoparticles reduced by reductant were incorporated on ordered mesoporous carbon to form magnetic ordered mesoporous carbon composites incorporating Ag nanoparticles (magnetic OMC–Ag). The prepared magnetic OMC–Ag as a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrate not only exhibited a clearly enhanced effect but also showed enrichment ability for the detection of 4-nitrothiphenol. Ag nanoparticles-incorporated magnetic carbon composites as SERS substrate displayed Raman enhancement phenomenon for the detection of 4-nitrothiphenol and showed high stability.
