Kinetics of Contact Deposition of Iron on Aluminum Substrate

Abstract

Contact exchange of iron(III) with aluminum metal is studied by using chronopotentiometry, voltammetry, and cyclic voltammetry. Some of its kinetic and other electrochemical characteristics are determined. The statement that the process proceeds in stages (which is proved by the use of methods of formal kinetics) is supported by cyclic voltammograms.
