The composition and technology of ginseng syrup, a new drug from roots of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, were established. Qualitative and quantitative analytical procedures for this preparation used TLC and spectrophotometry with H2SO4 (70%) at analytical wavelength 526 nm.
