Effect of Mo and W Additions on the Magnetic Hysteresis Properties of a Powder Ridge Alloy

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Allows from a powder material 22Kh15KS based on the Fe – Cr – Co system and alloyed with tungsten and molybdenum are studied. Magnetic characteristics of the alloys and their hardness after aging at 480 – 620°C are determined. The transformations under the aging and the conditions of formation of an ordered structure are investigated. Optimum modes of treatment are suggested.
