Recrystallization kinetics for aluminum alloy 7075

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The effect of the degree of cold working (58 – 71%), annealing holding time and temperature in the range 185 – 265°C on recrystallization kinetics for aluminum alloy 7075 are studied. Isothermal recrystallization kinetics are analyzed within the framework of the Johnson – Mehl – Avrami – Kolmogorov equation.
