Abstract
Descriptions are given of the operating principle and design of a gravitational Mossbauer spectrometer based on the long-lived isomer 109mAg. The measured quantity is the 88 keV γ-ray intensity from a fairly thick silver source containing atoms of the parent nuclide 109Cd.
