Abstract

We have performed computer simulations of the motion of electron bubbles through superfluid helium. The helium is modeled through the use of a modified version of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation. We find that by the time the bubble reaches the velocity at which vortex nucleation occurs the shape has changed significantly from spherical.
