Production of nanofibre materials from chitosan by electrospinning (review)

  • Chemistry and Technology of Chemical Fibres
  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Studies of production of chitosan and chitosan-containing nanofibre materials are examined in a review of the literature on the basic aspects of electrospinning of polymer fibres. The characteristics of the polymers used, composition and properties of the spinning solutions, process parameters of ES, and structural features of the articles obtained are described.
