Chemical Constituents of the Roots of Cinnamomum randaiense

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

4,4′-Diacetyl-2,2′-dimethoxydiphenyl ether, d-mannitol, (+)-sesamin, (+)-diasesamin, obtusilactone A, isoobtusilactone A, β-sitostenone, β-sitosterol, cinnamic acid, and eugenol were isolated from the roots of Cinnamomum randaiense (Lauraceae). Among them, 4,4′-diacetyl-2,2′-dimethoxydiphenyl ether is a new diphenyl ether compound. The structures of these compounds were characterized and identified by spectral analyses.
