The compositions and contents of free and bound amino acids in soft tissues of the Far-East bivalve mollusk Anadara broughtonii were determined. A total of 28 free amino acids were detected, 15 of which were common major amino acids for all studied soft tissues. Proteins contained 19 amino acids, 8 of which were essential.
